CHATEAU PRAT DE CEST
Read moreFamily property since 1804, this castle was built by the Viscounts of Narbonne in the 12th century. On the 32 hectares of stony or clay-limestone soil, exposed on the south-eastern slopes of the Corbières maritime massif, we find the characteristic grape varieties of the Languedoc: syrah, grenache noir, carignan and mourvèdre. These soils produce wines of excellence, with low yields. Proof of this is the AOP Corbières Ermengarde, the flagship of the estate, which regularly wins awards, including two stars and the "coup de coeur" in the Hachette guide 2021.
