Castle retracing the history of France which goes back to the XIIth and XIIIth when kings of France made build the first buildings

The château as we see it today was once part of a much larger area where kings enjoyed hunting. Imposing in its proportions, it is just as impressive in its centuries-old history, as evidenced by the architectural styles that characterize it: enclosure, fortifications, keep, 14th-century Gothic Sainte-Chapelle... A visit to the château is highly recommended, providing an insight into several centuries of history, while the more observant can spot a few peregrine falcons nesting on the heights.

Superbe château avec un donjon médiéval permettant une vue sur Paris. Attention cependant le dernier étage du donjon n'est pas toujours accessible. Magnifique chapelle soeur jumelle de la Sainte Chapelle de l'Île de la Cité. À visiter +++

Très beau monument offrant une vue magnifique sur les alentours et notamment le bois! Une très belle découverte à faire en famille, facile d'accès par le métro. Comptez environ 2h pour la visite.
