CONSEIL INTERNATIONAL DES MONUMENTS ET DES SITES (ICOMOS)

Established in 1965, ICOMOS is an international non-governmental organization that works for the conservation of monuments and sites around the world. As a centre for threatened sites, it is the consultative organisation of the World Heritage Committee for the implementation of the UNESCO World Heritage Convention.
