A family business founded in 1929, Société fromagère de la Brie manufactures a variety of cheeses: brie de Meaux, brie de Melun, brie de Montereau, coulommiers as well as certain "triple cream" specialties (Jean de Brie, vignelait, bayard gourmand, brillat-savarin, brie de coulommiers, brie de Nangis...) and "double cream" (saint-siméon, brie de Montereau, explorateur)... On the leaner side: 1000-year-old cheese or cendré de la Champagne at 20% or 30% fat content.

Unlike foufi reception which was reserved for us was freezing, no advice on the choice of cheeses available, just time to make our choice, very disappointed, the only positive side is the possibility to buy displaced cheeses and to have more variety than in the shops in the villages and nearby towns; the prices of cheeses of first class are cheaper than in other outlets.

Exceptional! the word is not too strong. The prices are summits, cheeses, same for the reception, the web plus ultra. Unfortunately we so live far (Brittany) a small detour for a great moment.
