Museum with a beautiful collection of medieval pavements and utilitarian and religious objects, in the Romanesque House in Provins.

Behind the beautiful stone facade dating from the 12th century of the Romanesque House, one of the oldest buildings in Provins, the treasures of the museum are spread out over four levels. In any case, there are often unusual objects, such as the wolf worn by Napoleon at a masked ball. The museum also has a very fine collection of medieval pavements and a very important collection of medieval utilitarian and religious objects which are displayed with great ingenuity.

Petit musée a visiter. (accès inclus dans le pass qui permet de visiter les principaux monuments de la ville).

Mitigée un bel endroit entretenu propre un monsieur a l accueil très agréable mais pas grand chose à voir pour le tarif de l entrée

Musée faisant parfois penser à un cabinet de curiosités dans certaines salles , objets depuis la préhistoire jusqu'au XIX ème siècle.
Un des lieux visitable avec le pass Provins.

Plutôt sympa pour les non handicapés mais pas d accès pour personnes handicapées ou mobilité réduites...volets semi fermés (étages) ce qui rend la visite plutôt sombres, ils auraient fallut les ouvrir en grands et cave mal éclairées, quelques sports ne seraient pas négligeables dans le souterrain on ne voit pas les pa cartes explicatives.
