The "Journées des plantes & Art du jardin" take place every year in Crécy-la-Chapelle and have become an unmissable event... They take place in the beautiful park of the castle of Crécy, in which it is very pleasant to stroll alone or in family. It is also an opportunity to approach this beautiful house dating from the 19th century with its typical façade. The exhibitions are very eclectic, from the classic plants and flowers to put in your garden to the beautiful handmade decorations to install in your house, passing by organic products to eat or to plant and interesting novelties in gardening. The discussions with the various specialists present at the various stands are often fascinating. You can also find some great souvenirs. If you want to buy, it is best to discuss prices in the second half of the afternoon on Sunday, when the exhibitors are getting ready to pack up. On your way out of the castle, don't forget to take a look at the impressive collegiate church Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption (free access) located almost opposite.
