Sofa Café is the ideal place to go between two purchases in department stores or to cool down. The reception is warm and sincere whether you are a passing tourist or a Parisian from the neighbourhood, you sit there for a drink or a meal. Open from noon to 11 pm non-stop, the chef offers a typical brasserie menu. Simple dishes like salads, omelettes, toasted sandwiches, homemade club-sandwiches, but also more sophisticated dishes. You can find there the scallops tartar, hanger steak and pepper sauce, the Italian salad with toast with goat cheese, melon, Parma ham and tomato confit, and you can finish with a tarte tatin and its fresh cream, a hot pancake or an ice-cream among the many flavours available. Everyday, a dish of meat and a dish of fish are offered as a complement, like the Provençal beef stew, the cottage pie of cod, the venison stew or the veal cutlet.
