PÉTRELLE
Chic restaurant with a retro decor offering cuisine concocted by the chef Jean-Luc André.
Christian Lacroix admitted that this restaurant was one of his favourites, thanks to its decor and cuisine. The decor, in fact, is kind of a bric-a-brac chic with beautiful chandeliers, retro curiosity cabinets, and boudoirs that some will love while others will simply classify them as kitsch. As for the cooking, Jean-Luc André simmers duck ravioli steamed with fresh morels, roasted tournedos of Charolais, and a squab with foie gras. And when it is time for sweets, the classic chocolate cake with its English cream makes its appearance, followed closely by a shortbread with tart lemon cream as desired. It is a moment of delicacy, a little out of time as you have dinner with friends without ever having the impression of being in a restaurant.
