Address with terrace in Paris elaborating a card declining a mundane score and various dishes.

Luxuriously installed in the right wing of the Palais Garnier and equipped with a pleasant terrace, the glamorous Coco welcomes a colourful clientele in an astonishingly curved décor, combining greenery, immense velvet hangings, rococo lampshades and marble tables. The menu offers a worldly score, perfectly mastered and which satisfies all appetites, those of American instagrammers as well as those of businessmen: langoustine ravioli with green cabbage, artichoke carpaccio, soft-boiled egg with peas and parmesan, half-cooked tuna with broccoli and ginger, roasted octopus with seasonal vegetables, veal and penne gratin, sweetbreads.

We had a reservation for 7pm, and when we arrived the door was locked and there was a gate with a huge lock in which seemed odd. When we came in the cloak girls seemed annoyed and not very welcoming at all. We were sat down at a table right next to a speaker, so we asked if we could move, because my mother has bad hearing - that was not possible and they couldn’t care less. We stayed at the table and ordered our dinner. When the food came, the starters were fine, but the main pasta with ham was almost inedible. I could have made a better pasta at home no doubt. It was mealy and seemed like they had just picked up the cheapest bag of pasta at the supermarket. Very disappointed, when the price was €39 for a horrible plate of pasta. Service was non existant as the waiters had way too many tables each and seemed extremely stressed. The building itself was impressive, but the price was not fair at all.

Personnes blanche et de couleur séparé, si vous souhaitez un retour aux années 50, ce restaurant est le parfait endroit !

The atmosphere is nice, but the food wasn’t great. According to my Parisian friends this restaurant belongs to a group called Paris Society and they are known for being too commercial and not catching the french cuisine spirit and quality.

It’s crazy how the small restaurants i went to outperformed the “instagrammable” ones every time.
