Restaurant serving Latin-American-inspired cuisine based on fresh produce, in the Hoy de Pigalle hotel.
Within the Hoy de Pigalle hotel, the Mesa restaurant ("table" in Spanish) opens under a beautiful glass roof with marble table and banquettes. Inspired by Latin American cuisine, the dishes are prepared using fresh produce, for a holistic approach to gastronomy. Portions may be a little small, but the taste and experience are there for all to enjoy: mushroom tacos, papas bravas and cashew cream, cauliflower and chickpea falafel. In the evening, let yourself be tempted by a signature cocktail infused in a vat and served on tap!

Wir haben 1 Woche vorher reserviert und einen Tag vorher noch die Reservierung bestätigt. Am gleichen Tag wurde uns dann mit einer automatischen Nachricht ohne die Nennung eines Grundes abgesagt. Am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag kann ich mir schöneres vorstellen. Würde ich nicht empfehlen!

Très joli restaurant sous une verrière, jolie déco. C'est bon mais pas dingue non plus, les plats ne sont pas du tout recherchés. Vrai coup de coeur pour le banana bread. Attente très longue entre les plats, serveuse pas très aimable.

One has to recognise that there's a bravery behind a vegan and gluten-free menu. The food was fresh enough. But it was overall mid, and completely missing in umami. Healthy enough, but unfortunately very boring -- no kick, no umph.

Food was simply not even mediocre. Kale salad arrived salty (like really above normal) even though we said we wanted less salt in the dishes. Natural wine proposed by the waitress was undrinkable, prices not shown on the menu so you have to ask every time, plus the cost is extremely high for basic ingredients. An appetizer at 9 euros was just 2 tiny pieces of beetroot. 60 euros for the menu. The only nice thing about it is the decoration and the waitress was nice.

Nous avons choisi le menu pour déjeuner il y a très peu de choix (2 plats, 2 sides) et l'un des choix de side était une simple salade de jeunes pousses qui est également servie avec les plats (certes pas avec la même vinaigrette et pas tout à fait les mêmes pousses...). Donc on se retrouve avec un tas de salade qui même s'il y en a pas mal n'est pas copieuse.
Le plat vendu en tant que "galette de pomme de terres" est plutôt une tartelette. Je m'attendais à qqch comme un Rösti, un peu crousti-gourmand. In fine, c'est plutôt des gros morceaux un peu mou, c'est bon sans plus, mais beaucoup trop petit, totalement insuffisant pour un déjeuner.
Le dessert, un mini Granola servi avec des fruits rouges est pas mal, mais basique et minuscule...
Service lent et pas très enjoué.
