A superb showcase for a richly diverse collection of works: antique bronzes, prints, paintings and more.

Like its neighbour, the Grand Palais, it was built for the 1900 Universal Exhibition. This superb showcase boasts a rich and diverse collection of works: antique bronzes, Renaissance objets d'art, icons, Flemish and Dutch paintings, prints (Rembrandt, Goya...), tapestries, furniture, earthenware... Temporary exhibitions, workshops and conferences are organised. There's also a charming little garden surrounded by colonnades, with mosaic ponds, and a café where you can spend a pleasant, relaxing moment.

Nous sommes venu sur un coup de tête, il n’était absolument pas prévu que nous nous rendions au Petit Palais et nous ne regrettons absolument pas ! Ce musée est juste magnifique, on y trouve de l’art sous toutes ses formes que ça soit la peinture, la sculpture et des objets historiques. Nous avons même pas attendu. Une partie était fermé pour des raisons de travaux. Je suis ravie d’avoir visité ce lieu dont j’entrais parlé régulièrement ! Recommande

Rijkelijk versierd museum met mooie hoge plafonds, muurschilderingen en mooie mozaïek vloeren. Een groot deel is gratis te bezoeken. Zeker het bezichtigen waard.
