Address in Paris serving oysters, a cheeseburger, simple homemade pastries and a beer on draught.

Nestling opposite the Madeleine church, this Colibri is a refuge, a shelter where it's good to be, after a classical concert, a show at L'Olympia or a tour of Paris. The orange lighting, the benches, the welcome seem timeless. At Le Colibri, everything is good and homemade (or almost!), and you can enjoy roast chicken, home fries and a wide range of salads... In any case, even to drink one of the beers on draught, it's a pleasure to stop in, because at Le Colibri, we like people.

49€ pour 2 croque-monsieur et un cœur de laitue (facturé à 11€!). Are-you kidding? La carte a changé et tout est hors de prix, alors que rien n’a changé, ni le décor, ni le service…. ???? Il semblerait en fait que cette brasserie banale de la place de la Madeleine ait été rachetée et que le nouveau propriétaire veuille tout casser pour en faire un restaurant de luxe. Ok, c’est son choix. Mais faire payer le prix du luxe sans avoir encore le produit correspondant, c’est a minima une erreur marketing! À fuir…

Nouveau propriétaire et franchement déçu j’ai acheté un petit macaron à la dure juste à côté installé je commande après il me dit c’est interdit de manger les macarons franchement première fois que mon dit sa sa fesait plusieurs fois que je viens ici avec l’ancien propriétaire mes sa sera la dernière et je recommande pas ! l'expresso c’est de l’eau jus de chaussette

Un vrai café haut de gamme au comptoir pour un prix raisonnable place de la madeleine. Les matins des parisiens ont encore de beaux jours.

The food is ok but the neither the quality nor the portions nor the presentation is at the level of the price on the menu. I ordered a croque Mme and received it with a tiny peice if lettuce on the side, I thought it looked ridiculous and that they should put some greenery on the side, like all the other croque mrs served in paris.
I can see the changes that they made to make them look like the famous group of cafes in paris but it would’ve been better being themselves and sticking to their own identity.
