Prestigious restaurant in Paris elaborating a menu of 7 starters, 4/5 fish, 4 meats and 6 desserts.

The Epicure is probably one of the most prestigious restaurants in our capital. Nestled in a superchic palace, Le Bristol, adjacent to the Palais de l'Palace, this hotel has long been one of Nicolas Sarkozy's favourite gourmet tables.

Éric Fréchon, 50, is the leader. He was born in the Somme and grew up in Normandy. Past the kitchens of La Grande Cascade, Taillevent, La Tour d'Argent, Le Crillon, by Spain also, he is a sacred Best Worker in France in 1993 (with the help of Christian Constant) and takes over the kitchens of the gourmet restaurant in Bristol in 1999. The hotel is already credited with a Michelin Star star. He obtained the second in 2001 and the third in 2009.

It is difficult to give advice with a map of seven entries, four/five fish, four meats and six desserts. We should be able to taste everything, but this is obviously not possible. So we will be referring to the macaroni "stuffed, black truffle, artichoke and foie gras of duck, fingers to old Parmesan", an inescapable, the "just royal langoustines, cold served, taste celery and yuzu", finally la of bladder baked Bresse for two or three guests: «When you bring the inflated pig in a room like a big ball and in which lamb has cooked to steam, customers are fascinated and ordered instantly! » warns the Chief.

Des plats extrêmement délicieux et très joliment présentés. Théâtrale dans le style français classique - avec des couvercles de vaisselle en argent qui se soulèvent en même temps derrière chaque convive. La décoration intérieure est un peu vieillotte, mais le service superbe est irréprochable. Les desserts étaient particulièrement beaux - pour les végétaliens, il existe une splendide imitation de citron faite de meringue et de sorbet, bien qu'elle coûte plus de 200 euros.

Merci pour ce moment magique, hors du temps, vous avez tous été formidables, bienveillants, sympathiques...
Nous avons passe un merveilleux repas, sans aucune fausses notes, et la visite des cuisines et des ateliers ont été la cerise sur le gâteau.
Mr Frechon à pris le temps de discuter quelques minutes avec nous en prime.
Je suis encore sur un petit nuage ????
