A classical parisian bistro serving traditional french classics. Well made at agreeable prices. I have little to fault them, the concept is tried and tested, yet it feels this is one of a thousand like it in Paris. Good, but a bit boring. Service deducted for presenting duck breast as the substitute for running out of beef, but then serving confied duck leg - difference is, ahem, noticeable. Tasty though ;)
Accueil chaleureux, bistrot parisien comme on les aime ; une carte bien conçue et fraîche ; des plats et desserts parfaitement présentés et goûteux !

Came here as tourists based on a recommendation and felt at home. Very quiet on a Wednesday evening in January, but the food was delicious. Everything made with fresh, local ingredients and the dessert was amazing! (Strongly recommend the crème brûlée and the chocolate lava cake).
Service was wonderful and friendly considering we were obvious tourists who spoke horrendous French!
A simple menu with simple food, but my goodness was it delicious. My husband and I had a wonderful and memorable dinner at Maison Bès and would come back here again and again.
Cuisine: traditionnelle de qualité irréprochable (l'entrée betterave façon mimosa fut un délice déjà avec les yeux, l'entrecôte goûteuse et bleue comme j'adore, le moelleux au chocolat une vraie tuerie: le châteauneuf-du-Pape Troupel d'un excellent rapport qualité/prix)
Service: familial et très personnel (pas courant dans le 8ème)
Ambiance: à la fois cosy par la décoration et animée par le nombre très impressionnant d'habitués (ça veut tout dire!).
La dorade était un vrai délice ! L'affogato était sucré juste comme il faut. Et le vin, vraiment bon et se mariait bien. Un repas super à apprécier sans hésiter !
L'entrecôte était incroyablement tendre et le choix des plats locaux était délicieux. Le cheesecake était tout simplement divin. Dans l'ensemble, une expérience culinaire inoubliable!
Quality below average. Tartare seemed to be stretched with mayonnaise. Small portions. Very unfriendly staff. We were seated next to the toilet despite the restaurant being almost completely empty. Do not recommend at all as there are many better options nearby. Not worth the money!
English menu available. Good service and nice atmosphere. Food quantity is also satisfactory. The presentation of boiled egg with mayonnaise was unexpected in a good way. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends.
A beautiful eatery. The food was delicious, and the service was wonderful. Despite not being able to speak the language and being mildly strung out from twenty hours of travel, we were treated very well.
Sehr gepflegtes Restaurant mit exquisiter Küche: alle Speisen waren sehr ausgewogen konzipiert und hatten einen vollkommenen Geschmack. Dazu die Betreuung, durch das Eigentümer-Paar, beide sehr elegant. Ein sehr schönes Erlebnis, wahrscheinlich von der Qualität das beste Lokal auf unserer Reise durch Frankreich.

Stumbled across this restaurant near my hotel on Friday, 6/9/23. Loved the vibe and friendly/welcoming service. The food was fantastic. I had the rib steak with pasta and my husband had the fish with rice. We had the sardines for first course and champagne. The meal was very good! The steak was cooked exactly how I asked: medium rare. We ordered the Sauncere wine for dinner. It was a very good meal! We had a wonderful time on our 2nd night in Paris. Thank you Maison Bes!
