The Forge de Laguiole company has taken over the traditional manufacturing methods where metal blade, horn and wood are transformed and assembled on the spot in Laguiole by high level cutlers. This factory has brought a great notoriety to the Laguiole knife, with models of designers, who have made some variations around the silhouette of this object - Philippe Starck... In addition to these, there are the re-editions of old models, the table services and the unique custom-made pieces made by the cutlers.
