Museum offering an opportunity to discover a part of the Paris sewer system and understand how it works

This is one of the capital's most unusual museums. Through a series of galleries, you'll discover the sewers of Paris and learn how this wastewater collection system works, with several highlights. The tour begins with an immersion into the galleries via the elevators, followed by a visit to the "industrial" site, before following in the footsteps of a sewer worker. The completely renovated site is impressive.

One of the best museums in Paris! It IS in the sewer, which apparently I wasn’t clear with when I told my family. You get to see the workings and we got a plus of watching a rat run down one of the spillways. Definitely worth a gander, especially if you are a fan of Les Miserable.
