Having no trees to talk in Paris, the Bookstore Galerie Congo had the right idea to set up in the capital. In the light and as its name indicates, a great deal is done in Congolese literature: beautiful, rich and unjustly unknown. The greatest writers and thinkers of the continent invite to Paris, the fictional novel, through book-reportage, law or politics, bilingual dictionaries (French-lingala, French-munu-kituba), children's literature, as well as comic authors from Central Africa. Meetings, debates, conferences and dedications are regularly organised to strengthen the links between Paris and Brazzaville. There is also a high place of culture where African artists (photographers, painters, sculptors) contrast singers and musicians through a selection of Cds.
