Bistro canteen in Paris offering a slate of grilled meats, quality products, shellfish and desserts.

A consensual atmosphere in this Laiterie in the heart of the French government's "quartier des ministères", a picture-perfect bistro decor with old exhibition posters on the wall, and very friendly service. But let's move on to the essentials: the food. What we were served that lunchtime - foie gras and a poultry supreme en cocotte - was impeccably crafted, with bright liver and irresistibly moist meat. Nothing convoluted, just simple, well-crafted dishes. We loved it!

What a small quaint neighborhood gem! So glad we found Laiterie Sainte-Clotilde. The wait staff offered excellent service and were super friendly and supportive of our attempts at speaking French. The food was the best we've had three days into our trip - delicious tuna roll, soft egg with morel sauce, artichoke soup, and the fish of the day. The chef knows what he's doing! Wonderful wine selection as well - we had a bottle of pinot noir, the remainder of which they kindly re-corked and bagged for us to take away. Make a reservation. We highly recommend this delightful restaurant.
