Restaurant with enclosed garden offering seasonal cuisine, quality products, dishes to share as an aperitif.
La Démocratie... A rather surprising name for a restaurant but, in this case, justified: the place used to host La Démocratie, a newspaper created by Marc Sangnier, founder of Sillon, and the headquarters of this movement. If the room, with its sober decoration, appeared almost austere to us in spite of the comfortable club armchairs in a lounge area, the peaceful enclosed garden with its few tables is a real blessing. In the plate, a seasonal cooking, which bets on the origin and the quality of the products. Rather high prices.

Un restaurant authentique comme il en manque à Paris. Un menu à un prix tout à fait honorable (entrée, plat et dessert pour 39€) mais surtout une cuisine délicate, joliment présentée avec un goût plus qu’au rendez-vous ! Une cuisine qui fait honneur à la tradition française ! Mention spéciale pour cette mousse au chocolat gourmande et légère, on en mangerait des plats entiers !
Pour couronner le tout, notre serveur était tout à fait charmant et attentionné, à l’écoute comme on en fait peu. Et à la fin, il nous a permis de visiter la Salle du Sillon.
Très belle expérience !
Je reviendrais sans hésiter !
