It was originally a small village of the Pyrenees-Orientales, Saint-Laurent-de-Cerdans, whose name rhymes with Catalan weaving and rope-soled sandals. During the 90's, a couple was bold enough to buy the last weaving factory of the village that went bankrupt. Now renamed and revitalized, the Toiles du Soleil factory knows how to combine tradition and fashion, thereby making everyone happy. Drawing inspiration from the local archives and the news trends, thousands of designs are weaved here. The colours predominate, with brick-red, pastel, or fruited shades which adapt to seasons. You will find in the Parisian shop this combination of genuineness and trendy designs, where cotton and flax are ever-present. You can buy tissues by meter as well as raw products: table linen, deckchairs, cushions and curtains, wallets, lampshades, binders...Here you will find the secret to have a colourful and sunny life all year.
