Hotel of revisited Art Deco style where the rooms have particular atmospheres and some have terraces.
This hotel has a revisited Art Deco style. The rooms all have unique atmospheres where precious materials are contrasted. In the "Jewellery" room, jewellery plated under glass decorates the bedsides and we are illuminated by saltire sconces. The "Mode" room is dressed with fake feathers and moire. In the "Cinema" room, the lamps are stage projectors. Some rooms have 12 m² terraces and suites are duplex or overlook gardens. This hotel became one of the essential addresses of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, 50 metres from the Théâtre de l'Odéon, 150 metres from the Luxembourg garden and 300 metres from the Odéon metro station.

The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in; even after asking for a mattress topper it was no better. No fridge or tea/coffee facilities in the room & no restaurant or room service. Majority of staff were very junior meaning they were not able to assist when asking for basic things (eg a large taxi to take 4 plus bags). ‘Do not disturb’ sign on door was also ignored by reception staff who called every time it was left on — anyone doing so is aware that this may mean housekeeping do not come; beware if you have jet lag or are trying to relax during the day. If I had not stayed here for business I would have left a lot sooner than I did.
