This hotel is a former th century mansion located on a street that owes its name to the prince of Condé, cousin of Louis XIV. It is the fourth generation of the same hotel family that always keeps this charming hotel carefully. The buffet breakfast is served in an astonishing vaulted cellar with an authentic well, which once won the name of Hotel du Réservoir. It is also said that in the past Franciscan monks lived here… We discover near the reception a small patio on the route of the former enclosure of Philippe Auguste. It brings a touch of freshness with its Vases vases adorned with lauriers and flowers. In a new décor, the beams and the apparent stones of this house of tradition are enhanced by high-time furnishings and are granted with authentic patinas. The comfortable reading lounge with its green fireplace pousse after a day of sightseeing. The rooms are all personalized: Some have a four-poster bed, others a glittering ceiling of small lights and a whirlpool or a trompe. There are quadruple rooms for families, cots are available on request as well as babysitting service.

When I arrived, the staff was friendly and inviting. The rooms were beautifully decorated and well maintenance. The bathrooms were modern and well appointed, which isn’t always the case for unique boutique hotels with significant character similar to this one.
The hotel is positioned centrally, and the majority of the city is accessible through walking or a taxi/Uber. We found several local bars, restaurants and coffee shops to spend our time a short walking distance away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this hotel to everyone. We’ll be back!
