Located in Paris, Lipp is an old fashioned restaurant where you can enjoy traditional brasserie dishes with other specialties.
If you are looking for a small bistro at a low price, you are not really at the right address. Indeed, here "it is not given" and the reason is that: this Parisianism temple, classified by the Historical monuments for its decor 1900 - mural ceramics of Léon Fargues and ceilings painted by Charly Garrey -, accommodates a clientele made up in particular of writers, artists and politicians. Typical Parisian brasseries dishes are served here. Each day of the week, two daily specials are offered. For example, on Monday, it's beef steak with pepper or haddock poached with butter sauce. On the three following days, you'll find cassoulet, English-style pan-fried calf liver, ravigote calf's head, Amercan-style monkfish fricassée. The house has also its specialties such as remoulade saveloy, vintage sardines (2011/2016 collections) or grilled and stuffed pig's trotters.
