LE CAFÉ DE L'ODÉON
Establishment in Paris offering charcuterie and cheese boards, home-cooked meals, and fresh products.
Situated a stone's throw from the Jardin du Luxembourg, in the heart of the Latin Quarter, this establishment has an expressly Parisian soul. The high ceilings, mouldings, imposing columns and statues by 17th-century playwrights give this building, inaugurated in 1782 by Marie-Antoinette, a distinguished look that is counterbalanced by a flexible and friendly menu. In summer, for lunch, beers, cocktails, white, red or rosé wines are accompanied by platters - charcuterie and cheeses - bruschettas, salads and gourmet dishes. No frills in this cultural temple with its breathtaking décor, but home cooking and fresh produce. It is also possible to have a little snack before, during or after the performances given at the Théâtre de l'Odéon, or to swallow a small coffee, at the counter or on the terrace in front of the sunny square.
