Café in Paris serving traditional cuisine with good products, chicken or snails, desserts.

Ideally located in the heart of the 6th arrondissement, Cassette Café is often crowded at any time of the day. The decoration is both traditional with old counter and contemporary with its walls where coloured silhouettes can be seen. Chef Alexandre Célèrier offers a simple and traditional cuisine, without fuss, but with very good products that you can imagine as duly selected. The farm chicken, the foie gras or the Burgundy snails are all nice moments. Special mention for the desserts, from the toasted brioche with tiramisu (which comes here with gingerbread and raspberries).

Quel service affreux… ???? Les deux monsieurs étaient souriants mais la dame qui nous a servi était vraiment sèche et désagréable. Aussi, nous avons demandé de l’eau (carafe) et elle nous a ouvert une bouteille de Vittel en forçant à la consommation. Mais ça, tant pis, on va dire que ça « arrive ». Par contre, être souriante, polie, et agréable avec le client, on attend encore… Nous comprenons que le milieu de la restauration n’est pas facile tous les jours, beaucoup de pression et peut être que l’on demande aussi de faire « du chiffre à tout prix ». Mais la clientèle revient lorsque le service est agréable, c’est important de s’en rappeler… En tout cas nous, on ne reviendra pas ! ????

Bons plats, beau cadre, mais serveuse très désagréable : il faut que ça aille vite ! Celle-ci est venue nous demander plusieurs fois en même pas dix minutes de temps si nous avions choisi ce qu’on allait prendre et ensuite s’exclame « pas encore ! ». On s’est senties expédiées, c’est dommage

Une attente bien trop longue
Nous avons choisi le brunch. Nous avons été servi en 2 fois. Il a fallu attendre 20min et demander à plusieurs reprises la suite. Pas vraiment un brunch au final...
