A museum dedicated to mathematics, in the heart of the Latin Quarter, where you can discover cool maths rooted in everyday life.

In the heart of the Latin Quarter, between the Faculty of Physics and Chemistry and the offices of CNRS researchers, a museum dedicated to mathematics was opened last September. It's an opportunity for maths enthusiasts, and especially those traumatised by square roots, to take a new approach to this discipline shunned by the French. Here, we make maths cool by anchoring it in everyday life, so you don't have to hear the famous "maths is useless!" Certain phenomena are explained through games, videos, workshops, and animations, over an area of 900 m².

Musée très petit. L'exposition permanente est sympa, mais on joue plus que l'on apprend. Sûrement bien pour les enfants, mais pas pour les adultes.

L'exposition sur l'IA est très superficielle, avec des petits stands par-ci par là dans une salle blanche, presque vide, avec certaines informations carrément erronées...

Dommage, sur le papier ce musée a beaucoup de potentiel

Maison Poincaré ou comment faire aimer les maths aux enfants et aux plus grands ! Les activités sont ludiques et adaptées aussi à ceux qui sont moins à l'aise avec cette discipline, beaucoup d'activités de manipulation rendent petit musée très attractif !
