One of the oldest squares in Paris, which was for a long time the residence of the Valois.
This square is one of the oldest in Paris. Long the residence of the Valois family, it wasn't until the reign of Henri IV that it took on the appearance we know today, with its polychrome architecture - brick, stone and slate - typical of the 16th and early 17th centuries. After the French Revolution, it took on its current name in honour of the Vosges, the first département to pay the tax. Take a stroll under the superb arcades, passing through the sumptuous Hôtel de Sully at no. 7. This will take you directly to rue Saint-Antoine!

Place très jolie et conviviale. De nombreuses galeries d'arts se trouvent sous les arches de la place et qui donnent un charme particulier à cette place mythique
