This private mansion with its French garden was once the home of the Duc de Sully, King Henri IV's minister in Paris.
This magnificent mansion was built in 1620 when the Place Royale, now known as Place des Vosges, was constructed. It houses the headquarters of the Caisse Nationale des Monuments Historiques, now the Centre des Monuments Nationaux. You can't visit the interior, but you can take a stroll through the charming French garden. On site, you'll find an information point on the center's activities and a bookshop.

From the outside looks like any ordinary building but once you go through the doors you feel like you entered another era and imagine the horse carriages and all the elite dressed up in the 1800s
The House museum of Victor Hugo is also inside this complex of buildings including a magnificent garden

O hôtel, construído em 1624, passou a ser classificado como Monumento Histórico a partir de 1862 e em 1944 tornou-se propriedade do Estado e atualmente abriga o Centre des Monuments Nationaux.
O pátio e o jardim tem acesso livre, todos os dia de 9h00 às 19h00, com entrada pela 62 Rue Saint-Antoine e uma passagem que leva à Place des Vosges (altura do n° 7).
