L'Escale porte bien son nom ! C'est un vrai bistrot parisien qui a su garder son âme et où l'accueil est toujours très chaleureux. Merveilleusement situé, il offre un cadre plein de charme qui incite à prolonger l'escale. Ici, la convivialité et la gentillesse ne sont pas de vains mots. Et la nombreuse clientèle d'habitués ne s'y trompe pas.

I normally do not like to give bad reviews but after a fantastic week in Paris and then visiting this place., feel like I had to. First the attitude of the waitress, then the smell of the burnt food was so bad we had to go outside to breathe. I should have known better and asked for a price beforehand but the wine was so bad, we could not finish the glass of wine that was the most expansive wine we had in Paris.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. Worst place in Paris. Extremely rude service and overpriced. No ventilation in the kitchen so you are choking on the fumes of badly cooked food while seated. It was so bad, I had to go outside to breathe.

Un petit bonheur de se retrouver dans cette brasserie parisienne au cœur de l'île Saint Louis, un moment de calme. Ambiance convivial, nourriture copieuse et bonne. Un petit + pour le cocktail l'escale ainsi que le sauvignon au verre. J'ai adoré mangé la quiche du jour, délicieuse.
