Hotel with terrace in Paris offering long aperitifs, organic pizzas with fresh and high quality products

This Assaggio is not that of the hotel of Castilla on the rue Cambon… Here, we are far from the Italian gastronomy, it is rather relaxation. A bistro room, a few tables on the terrace, and a good mood to sell with the two latino who hold the shop. The organic al pizzas, prepared with fresh and fairly high quality products, are cut off both in Rome. They are accompanied by good Italian wines recommended by the masters of the place.

Despite a reservation, the maître d’ was rude and dismissive. Marched off and banged a tiny unmade table into a cramped corner, despite proper tables being set. Reluctantly offered us a prepared reserved table. Waiter banged the blackboard menu on the table and grunted for us to hold it up. Needless to say we exited, and enjoyed a pleasant evening where were made welcome at La Fronde, which I recommend highly!

Assez scandalisé qu’en 2023 on puisse faire encore face à ce genre de situations.
Aujourd’hui 19h, début de service on se présente avec un groupe d’ami pour manger. Je demande à l’homme qui fait la mise en place s’il a des réservations en terrasse, il me répond que non. Je lui demande alors si on peut s’installer pour manger, il regarde mon groupe d’amis (groupe de 7 personnes de couleur) puis me répond qu’en terrasse ça ne va pas être possible. Je ne comprends pas et lui demande alors pourquoi, dans la mesure où il n’y a pas de réservation. Il me répond qu’on est trop nombreux… pour info en plus de notre groupe sa terrasse avait la capacité d’accueillir 4 personnes de +. Confus je lui dis alors que je ne comprends pas la logique de cette réponse dans la mesure où l’on s’installe pour consommer (dîner + verre) donc en quoi c’est un problème et que je ne comprends pas le rationnel de cette réponse. Il me répond qu’en effet ce n’est pas logique mais c’est comme ça. Expérience déplorable! Je n’y mettrai plus jamais les pieds
