Hotel-café-canteen in Paris offering a simple and healthy menu, fresh homemade bread and sandwiches.
In the heart of the Swedish Institute, housed in the beautiful mansion of Marle, in the Marais, this cafe is a type of canteen at the Ikéa. If the frame is pleasant, quiet and bright, it is for the lovely sunny courtyard and the sun loungers that visitors are affluent in weather. On the map, a simple and healthy kitchen that revolves around the «, a loaf of black bread covered with smoked salmon, herring, dill potatoes. The fresh bread is made home. You can also enjoy sandwiches (pumpernickel) of this same bread as beet and köttbullar, viande meat aux. But the must, these are the pastries, of course the Kanelbullar, these little cinnamon brioches, and the smakakor, small crispy pancakes. Pies and cakes for seasonal fruit are also proposed. The cinnamon buns (with a touch of cardamom) are my fav! Though I’d prefer them with fewer sugar crystals. Their pastry selection rotates, there wasn’t any cardamom buns during my last visit ????
