A place to admire the gardens of the hôtels d'Assy and de Breteuil, the gardens of Fontenoy and those of Jaucourt and Rohan
Although the courtyard of the imposing Hôtel de Soubise is impressive, you have to cross it and use the door at the far right to enter the gardens. You then enter the ruelle du Roche, one of the oldest streets in Paris! On your right, you can admire the gardens of the hôtels d'Assy and de Breteuil, then the gardens of Fontenoy and further on those of Jaucourt and Rohan: a poetic journey back to the 18th and 19th centuries.

Après la visite du magnifique hôtel de Soubise (où les Archives nationales présentent souvent d'intéressantes expositions temporaires), quel plaisir de se reposer dans ces jardins restaurés il y a quelques années, havre de tranquillité entre les rues des Francs Bourgeois, des Archives et des Quatre-Fils... en attendant la rénovation et l'ouverte de l'hôtel de Rohan.
