A palace inspired by the Greco-Roman style, designed by Alexandre Théodore Brongniart, one of the leading architectural figures of the time.
Inspired by the Greco-Roman style, this astonishing columned palace was actually built much later, in the 19th century, by one of the leading architectural figures of the time: Alexandre Théodore Brongniart. It housed the French Stock Exchange from 1826 to 1986, but computerisation has come and gone, and the building is now home to a 3,000 m² convention and events centre, promising companies and a start-up incubator. The building is well worth a visit, and we reveal that an unusual dining cellar is hidden beneath its forecourt.
