Today, experts have ample evidence of the existence of these distant ancestors. The oldest written writing ever found is Sushruta Samhita, a Ayurvedic Indian treaty written by surgeon Sushruta in the viith century BC. Papyrus Ebers and Papyrus Edwin Smith, written around 1500 BC, contain a collection of prescriptions and medications which proves the presence of these carers in ancient Egypt.
