In 1919, the theatre of Potinière was created, thanks to songwriter Saint-Granier and singer Gaston Gabaroche. There are magazines, comedies and operettas with Jules Berry and Arletty in particular. After becoming a cinema in the 1930 s, the theatre returned to the theatre. In 1961, it took the name of the Théâtre des Masques.
