This wooded and warm bistro combines modernity with tradition. If the woodworks come from the Lacombe family, from Lioujas in Aveyron, you are offered a truly Aveyronais and Cantalien cuisine. Régis and Rachida Costes form the third generation of restaurateurs from Taussac, near Mur-de-Barrez. Behind the bar, the U-shaped dining room and its checkered tableclothes open local products to you: delis of Espalion, Laguiole cheese, Salers meat, but there are also the gration of St-Nectaire with leek fondue, pan-fried Auvergnat tartare, bacon cantal fondu, onion and tomatoes or veal rack of cantal, Puy lentils, pan-fried pâté of Aveyron, aligot and farçous. What's new is the Aveyron burger with Aubrac beef. If a Marcillac wine from the Valady cellar can complement your dishes, a blueberry pie or an apple-chestnut birlou liqueur with a sorbet scoop can conclude and delight your meal.
Open all year round. Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. Reservation recommended. Card: about 35 €.
