Cocktail bar in Paris serving pizzas, pastas and Italian gastronomy with products from the boot.
In Rue Vivienne, at the beginning of the eponymous gallery, Daroco and Danico, the cocktail bar, have taken up residence in the former flagship boutique of fashion designer Jean-Paul Gaultier. What strikes you on entering are the large concrete columns, the high ceilings and, above all, the stunning mirrored ceiling. The open kitchen serves pizzas, pastas and other typical trattoria dishes. The house offers this Italian gastronomic heritage with finely selected products straight from the boot. Trendy clientele.

Unfortunately, our hotel concierge recommended this place for dinner after we toured the Louvre. The atmosphere was lively and we were seated upstairs so the view was good, but the service was slow and the food was cold. Good was mediocre at best.

Accueil et personnel très agréable, dans un cadre magnifique. Nous avons pris les pâtes à la truffe qui étaient excellentes et avons été très bien conseillées pour le vin. Ce restaurant mérite sa réputation.

The restaurant is very cosy and warm.
The ambiance was chill , especially in the upper room!
FOOD.
- The ingredients are SO fresh and quality is definitely their standard ! We love the pizzas.
- The crust is light and crusty.
- Ingredients of the pizzas are well-chosen and the combinations are very tasty.
- The ingredients are added at the end of crafting the dough , therefore enhancing every flavour!
SERVICE.
Waiters are lovely and very welcoming. They very clearly know what to recommend.
To conclude, QUALITY is what the restaurant looks for. Amazingly gratify for this evening.
