RANI MAHAL
Restaurant in a more modern and brighter setting offering a cuisine rich in flavors.
The Rani Mahal has changed its exterior façade and the interior decor, it is now in a more modern and brighter setting while remaining comfortable with its high-back chairs. This restaurant offers typical cuisine of northern India through a menu with a wide choice. Fish tikka (marinated and grilled fish), seekh kebab Lamb (chopped lamb kebabs), pakora (onion fritters), or samosa (brick filled with meat and spices) open up appetite and intoduce spices to our tastebuds. To continue, dishes in sauce prepared for a long time with, sometimes, more than 20 different spices completely immerse us into this cuisine rich in flavours. Bhuna Lamb (marinated and spit-roasted lamb shank) with chicken biryani (boneless chicken prepared in a special sauce) via rani shaslik (mix of chicken, fish, lamb, chopped lamb), it is a real journey of the senses. But in this part of the country, it is mainly the vegetarian dishes that are the real specialty. Our favourite? The shahi paneer, a curry cheese with butter and spice and cashew cream. You will also find the palak paneer (curry spinach cooked with cheese), the baingan bhurta (aubergine caviar and spices) or the alloo Gobi (potatoes and cauliflower with spices). A way of rediscovering vegetables! For dessert, you should not miss the kulfi, ice cream with coconut, pistachios and almonds, or the gulab jamun, (milk dumpling with rose syrup or flambéed with Brandy). All of that is to drizzle with a lassi or an Indian beer for a complete change of scenery.
