Neo-Romanesque church, designed by the architect Louis-Antoine Héret and built on a steep slope in Paris
The neo-Romanesque Notre-Dame-de-la-Croix church was designed by architect Louis-Antoine Héret. Construction took place between 1863 and 1880. Raised on a steep slope, it features a 54-step staircase at the foot of the façade (other entrances: rue de Ménilmontant and rue d'Eupatoria). The 78-meter-high bell tower is particularly remarkable. Inside is an organ by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll.

Notre ancienne paroisse. Nous avons fêté nos 10ans de mariage avec le père de Longeaux. Nous avons participé aux ateliers de février avec les pères de longeaux et d'Anglejan. De très bons souvenirs spirituels et amicaux. Nous sommes maintenant dans la paroisse nd de Nazareth. Paris 15ieme.

Architecture métallique apparente. Typique de l'époque Napoléon 3. Style éclectique. Nouvelles églises pour les nouveaux quartiers.
