A funicular that allows you to climb up to Sacré-Coeur while admiring the scenery through its all-glass cabin.
Montmartre is full of staircases! Thirty-eight in all, it seems. One of them - on rue Foyatier - has some 220 steps. The more athletic or daredevil will use it to reach the top of the Butte, while others will opt for the funicular that takes them to the foot of the Sacré-Coeur. Introduced into service in 1900, and renovated in 1935 and 1991, this electrically-powered elevator climbs 36 meters over a 108-meter length in less than 90 seconds.

Je m'attendais à une plus longue distance ayant déjà profité de ce moyen de transport à Lisbonne. Pour le fun c'est bien une fois arrivé au pied du funiculaire il ne reste plus beaucoup à monter
