Built in the century in Gothic style, this church is located on a street that follows the line of an ancient road
Saint-Denys-de-La-Chapelle church stands on a street that follows the route of an ancient road. This small edifice was built in the 13th century in Gothic style. Tradition has it that Joan of Arc stopped here to pray during her attack on Paris in 1429. For this reason, a basilica dedicated to the saint was built right next to the church. Launched in 1914, the project gradually materialized until the 1960s.
