Winner of the 2008 Bouteille d'Or award for the best wine bistro, this family-run establishment focuses on fine wines, accompanied by local Auvergne cuisine in a rustic setting. Enjoy a gratinée à l'oignon or a platter of Auvergne charcuterie and/or cheeses. Homemade chocolate mousse and rum baba round off the meal. For those with a small appetite, the assortment of tapas (including a crunchy Saint-Nectaire cheese) is also delicious. Traditional cuisine is good.

My wife and I stumbled on this delight in April, searching for dessert. The mousse au chocolat was to die for. We went back for dinner the next night (cancelling a reservation elsewhere) and weren’t disappointed. I am returning tonight with my son and his wife (hoping a table will be available around 20.30!). Host and hostess (chef) are really friendly, so I don’t understand the negative comments.

Super resto avec une ambiance conviviale. A conseiller pour s'arrêter boire un verre de vin (toujours de bons conseils) ou pour manger (les plats sont excellents). Planches à tester également, charcuteries / fromages au top ! Un grand merci à Eric et Lolo
