Called Ménélik in homage to the famous emperor of Ethiopia, this restaurant is an authentic and successful immersion, through the cuisine, in the country of the "horn of Africa". The dishes are to be shared ideally with friends around a plate consisting of one or more Ethiopian specialities, and it will be always accompanied by ingera, the traditional pancake of the country. The beyayennatou is a range of typical dishes, almost initiatory. You can also choose a tartare steak with spices from Ethiopia, possibly with chopped spinach and cheese, grilled with green pepper, a chicken sauce with spices or crushed peas cooked with spices. Everything is explained in the easiest manner to the neophyte, who will quickly feel invited more than the guest... All the cakes are homemade including one with carrots and almonds. The ceremony of the Ethiopian coffee on Friday and Saturday from 10:45 pm is a great moment to discover on site.

Le service était rapide, mais sans pression. L'ambiance était animée, il y avait de la musique éthiopienne. Le décor était coloré et il y avait beaucoup de symboles venus d'Ethiopie, par exemple des photos de personnalités politiques et de célébrités d'Ethiopie.
Concernant la nourriture, nous avons aimé
la crêpe Éthiopienne appelée ''Injera'', elle était servie avec différentes sortes de sauces, du curry et des salades. Nous avons mangé du boeuf tartare préparé à l'Éthiopienne, avec du beurre clarifié, un mélange d'épices, du fromage frais et des feuilles de menthe fraîche. C'était absolument succulent, délicieux. La viande était tendre et équilibrée. Nous avons fini le diner avec un café corsé éthiopien.
Même si le restaurant accepte seulement les espèces, je le recommande quand même !
