Museum organizing temporary exhibitions and events on themes related to the writer Honoré de Balzac.

From 1840 to 1847, the famous novelist Honoré de Balzac lived in this house located on the heights of the village of Passy under the name of Monsieur de Breugnol, a pseudonym intended to fool his creditors. It is in this place that he brought the final touch to his masterly "Comédie humaine". Personal effects, paintings and engravings, and several originals of some of his most famous manuscripts are on display. The museum also organizes temporary exhibitions and events on themes related to the writer.

Lieu avec art bizzare , vue sur l'ambassade Turc et la Tour Eiffel. Musée très petit . Café simple et pas boucoup de chose à manger .

Wir waren an einem Samstag da aber nur im Garten und Kaffee. Für eine Pause super! Sehr leckere Kuchen und sehr nette Atmosphäre. Es hat Bücher zum Lesen, Sitzplätze drinnen und draußen und toilette. Von dem Garten aus sieht man auch noch den Eiffelturm.

C'est un très bel endroit qui souffre de ne plus conserver le mobilier d'époque (vendus pour éponger les dettes de M. Balzac).
A visiter pour sa valeur historique.
