Three-star restaurant in an idyllic setting where the chef creates a delicate and tasty cuisine according to the seasons.
Here, everything is exceptional! The place is magical; the decoration is superb and the cuisine has been awarded 3 Michelin stars. In this elegant setting, the chef Frédéric Anton distills his delicate and subtle cuisine. Of course, you won't taste his "eggplant" (caviar, avocado cream and curry), his "crab" (soft flan, dashi, light aniseed flavour), his "sweetbreads" (caramelized, roasted ceps, fatty juice) or his "pollen" (shortbread, honey ice cream) every day, but it's an experience worth trying.

We didn’t know what we were in for when we booked a lunch at Le Pré Catelan, and boy howdy were we blown away by what we experienced!
Delightfully nestled in parc du bois, we enjoyed being surrounded by natural beauty and people walking, hiking, biking etc.
The food and service were top notch. We opted for a 10 course lunch service (down from the 12 option). The quality of food throughout was meriting of top dining accolades. The sommelier also matched several wonderful glasses to go along with various courses- rare and exceptional selections.
Be sure to dress up well, else you’ll stand out like a sore thumb!

A Gastronomic Delight at Le Pré Catelan, Paris
As a seasoned restaurant reviewer, it's rare to find a place that truly captivates your senses. Le Pré Catelan in Paris does just that. Here's my take on this gem in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne.
What I Loved:
The Culinary Artistry: The dishes here aren't just food; they're culinary masterpieces. The flavors are a bold dance of tradition and innovation – it's like experiencing a symphony of tastes with each bite.
The Setting is a Dream: Nestled in a 19th-century building, the restaurant oozes elegance and charm. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between luxury and comfort, making you feel like royalty in a modern fairytale.
Service that Stands Out: The staff here are more than just attendants; they're like culinary concierges. Knowledgeable, attentive, and with an eye for detail, they made my dining experience effortlessly smooth.
A Legacy of Excellence: With three Michelin stars under its belt, Le Pré Catelan isn't just good; it's phenomenal. This is a place where quality and perfection are not just aimed for – they are achieved.
Seasonal Surprises: The menu here is a dynamic canvas of flavors. Changing with the seasons, it offers a fresh and exciting culinary journey every time you visit.
The Single Downside:
The Price Tag: Excellence comes at a cost. The prices at Le Pré Catelan are steep, making this more of a special occasion spot rather than a regular haunt. But trust me, it's worth every penny for those moments you want to cherish forever.
Final Thoughts:
Le Pré Catelan is more than a restaurant; it's a celebration of the finest in French cuisine. It's a place where every dish tells a story, every bite is a memory, and every moment is steeped in culinary bliss. Yes, it's an investment, but for those special moments, it's an experience that's truly priceless.

It’s a Michelin 3-star restaurant, surely it deserves 3 stars.
Either taking a 4 hour chemistry class or attending a heavy funeral in a restaurant is a memorable experience. All courses are made of different forms of salt in creative ways. The only non salty dish is the Le Fromage, which is made of heavily greased toothpaste.
Recommend if you’re having Covid-19 loss of taste.

Good spot for a tasting menu. Dress code was all over the place for dinner. The only critique I have is how long it takes for courses to arrive - our dinner lasted nearly 4 hours but most things tasted lovely. Service was good for the most part but had some kinks
