Parisian bistro serving traditional homemade cooking with respect for the products and the seasons.

Does Thomas Kazandjian ring a bell? Probably not. On the other hand, if you're told Raymond Berthillon, you're more likely to say yes. Well, the former is the grandson of the latter, the famous ice-cream maker, and Le Mathusalem is his stronghold. This table of regulars, at the foot of the Pont de Garigliano, has more than one trump card up its sleeve: its Art Nouveau decor; its friendly, knowledgeable staff; and, of course, its cuisine, which carries the colours of tradition (andouillette, tête de veau, bavette, brandade de daurade...). Reassuring.

Il y a toujours de la bonne nourriture avec un service agréable ainsi que du bon vin au verre et d'excellents pains perdus. C'est un bon choix pour le déjeuner.

bistro tradi de qualité, avec une carte courte et de saison et une super équipe de salle ! les pinards sont choisis, avec des multiples bien sages (miam l’héritage de guigal de 2008 sans avoir à vendre un rein…)
