Mathieu Garrel's enthusiasm and joy of entertaining are two of the ingredients behind the success of his busy bistro (remember to make reservations). But the main ingredient is undoubtedly his "joyful and generous" cuisine. His Breton roots explain the cohabitation on the slate of marine recipes and local dishes. The former include Parisian-style lobster and Japanese-style oysters. On the land side, foie gras with cockles and hare à la royale are some of the chef's signature dishes. Classic dishes revisited with happiness and talent!

Venus entre amis, nous étions 4 dans un petit recoin au bout du bar en zinc. Cela nous a valu d’échanger toute la soirée avec le chef! L’ambiance était excellente à notre table et avec la cuisine car le chef, Mathieu????, a su se mêler à nous, créant une connivence très agréable!
Le repas était délicieux, mention spéciale au saucisson brioché me rappelant ainsi les dimanches chez ma grand-mère lyonnaise!
Excellent bistrot, ça parle, ça boit, ça rit, ça mange…le bistrot dans tous ses attraits!
Nous avons prévu d’y revenir bientôt!
