Well-known in the area, this Christian Etchebest address is a place where you come to eat or have a drink. This cantine offers simple, generous cuisine and quality dishes. The gouaille and accent of the South-West are very much in evidence, as is the Basque-influenced cuisine. The menu, which changes with the seasons, offers a tempting choice of bistronomic dishes. Razor clams and shrimps a la plancha; pâté and head cheese terrines; pearly scallops with saffron fish broth; pig's cheek... And to finish, a good homemade dessert? There's something for everyone! In fine weather, the "Guinguette" terrace awaits you.

If you are tourist in France and want to try the local cuisine this is the perfect place! Very good draft beer too!

We came across this little gem purely by chance while searching for a breakfast spot. We entered and felt a bit lost as we do not speak French. When they realised this they made a good effort to assist us in explaining the menu in English. The food was basic but oh so good. For this reason we decided to visit again for dinner the next day. We were just in time to get a table as the restaurant was packed within minutes. Again the staff got a colleague that was able to speak English to assist us with our food choices.
The food was outstanding and very well priced. One day when we visit Paris again I will certainly go out of my way to stop by.
Best food at the best prices and service over the 4 days we spent in Paris.
