Canteen in Paris offering a selection of various dishes, including meats, fish, and desserts.
You have to be there at the very beginning of service to get a table in one of Christian Etchebest's canteens, but when you get there, what a pleasure and what hesitation! Because here, you spend your time hesitating between the different dishes on the menu. Côtes-d'Auvergne or Morgon? Eggplant caviar-parmesan-pistou, Éric Ospital's pâté terrine or Père Fabre's goat's curd? Back of cod à la basquaise, onglet de boeuf-sauce vin rouge or xistoras (thin sausages)-potato purée-smoked juice? Special mention for the sharing formula.

Un super restaurant. Nos enfants y avaient déjà dîné en nous faisant un très bon retour. Testé hier soir pour mon anniversaire, nous avons été surpris de la qualité de la cuisine. Produits de saison extra- frais associés à des condiments qui en relèvent la saveur. J’adore cuisiner et je m’incline devant le savoir- faire du chef qui nous a régalés.

cuisine toujours aussi sympatique, le service par contre a baissé. vraiment pas au niveau auxquels ils m'avaient habitués. on va dire que c'était pas un bon jour.....

Our experience was very unpleasant. They did not have written menus, I had to look back at a wall where the menu was in hand writing. I understand that I’m in France but you can at least try to make it easy for the tourists. I couldn’t even translate the menu and when I told the waitress that we struggle with it, she did not care at all. They were very rude and it was really awful. Worst way to end our trip to Paris.

No menu, only written by hand on a black board. Not understandable. Unable to translate with g lens. The waiter very unpolite, not helpfull. We leaved the restaurant asap.
