Address with a terrace in Parc Montsouris where the chef creates subtle and generous cuisine.

Founded in 1889 and initially known as Le Pavillon du Lac, Le Pavillon Montsouris is located in the heart of Montsouris Park. It is a place full of memories, frequented by celebrities and whose gardens, so British, were ordered by Napoleon. The site now offers visitors a colonial-style decor with a canopy in winter and a lovely terrace with indisputable charm that is very popular on sunny days. The subtle and generous cuisine of the chef, Sebastian Dagoneau, fits perfectly with the atmosphere, starting with a cream of butternut in cappuccino, chestnut chips and royal of sea urchins or a homemade smoked Scottish salmon and its panna cotta of fingerling potatoes with Thai spices. And you gladly continue with a cod fillet with Japanese lemon, duo of zucchini fondant potatoes or a rump of veal cooked in a pan accompanied by macaroni gratin with foie gras. And for desserts, you yield to the temptation of the pastry chef, coconut cloud with hibiscus on exotic fruit minestrone, piña colada emulsion. And what do you think you grant yourself after these agapes? A digestive walk in the park, of course!

Excellente adresse
Il faut un peu courir après les serveurs mais ça reste correct
Seul bémol : aux vues du niveau de prestation et des tarifs, faire payer la carafe d’eau 2 euros 50 semble vraiment mesquin
